Our Favorite Eats

Restaurants in Lisbon book out early in the summer, so if there’s anywhere you have your eye on we recommend making a reservation 2-3 weeks ahead of time.

All of these restaurants are within walking distance of the neighborhoods we recommended staying in.

  • A Nossa Casa

If there’s only one restaurant to book in Lisbon it’s here. A modern take on traditional Portuguese flavors in a cozy setting with amazing local wines.

They have two seatings at 7p and 9p with a maximum booking of 4 people. Call for a reservation between 3p - 6p (Lisbon time).

  • Vino Vero

Tucked away on a cobblestone pedestrian street in Lisbon’s Graca neighborhood, this natural wine bar is our favorite place to enjoy both Portuguese and International wines with small bites.

They accept large group reservations (by phone) make sure to reserve a table outside.

  • Tricky's

Yes, this might be another buzzing, low-lit eatery, with small plates and great natural wines - but it’s our second favorite to A Nossa Casa and a bit easier to snag a reservation online.

  • Rosamar

A blend of Mexican, Peruvian, and Portuguese flavors, our recommendation for seafood lovers and great for groups.

  • The Mill

Surprise, an Aussie cafe made the list! Our neighborhood coffee shop for a flat white and brunch.

  • Imprensa

Our neighborhood cocktail bar serving freshly shucked oysters.

  • Cervejaria Ramiro

A Lisbon seafood institution and Anthony Bourdain selection.

If you missed your chance to make a reservation online, Ramiro accepts walk-ins but prepare for a little wait.

  • O Velho Eurico

A traditional family-owned Portuguese tasca with authentic dishes.

  • Senhor Uva

Vegetarian friends we have you covered! So good we often forget it’s strictly veggie.

  • Marquise

Amazing French bakery with fantastic sourdough and heavenly pastries. Take your treats to go from “Marquise” or sit down for breakfast at their restaurant nextdoor “Marquise de Mobler”.

  • Da Noi

We love the cozy living room feeling of dining at Da Noi and the spill out of people enjoying wine from their bar window.

  • Rosetta's

An intimate eatery on the fringe of Barrio Alto with an Italian twist on (you guessed it) small plates.
