Travel/Stay
All the events will be taking place a short distance from central Lisbon.
Uber or Bolt (our local alternative) will be your best friend for getting around and avoiding the hills, if necessary.
Ride-sharing is affordable, it will likely cost you less than 10 euros to get anywhere in the city (including any of the venues!).
Getting Around
Where to Stay?
Whether you’d prefer an Airbnb or a hotel, we recommend you stay anywhere in the blue-shaded area on the map. Just be sure to avoid the red areas (Bairro Alto & Pink Street) unless you enjoy all-night student street parties.
The blue area includes the following neighborhoods (including our home):
-
We live here! Filled with boutiques, restaurants, bars, and cafes - think Lisbon’s version of New York’s Soho/West Village.
-
The downtown center of Lisbon, great for shopping and easy to get around. Less hills!
-
Central neighborhood by the water. Flat, easy to get around. Just be sure to avoid Pink Street.
-
Charming and quieter residential neighborhood.
